ABILITIES //

Resurrección

Resurrección Appearance The sealed form of her res is a dirk which is considered a long dagger blade. Her dirk is based off the world war two dirk the Russians had. The pommel of the long dagger is a delicate gold though it’s not pure gold. It’s more of a gold dusting than anything. The blade its self weighs no more than three pounds at best. It fits easily in the folds of her uniform without being noticed. The sheath of the dirk is black with gold plating on the bottom, middle and tip of the encasing. On each of these golden places is etching that looks rather old. The blade on the dirk its self looks silver but at the same time a bit rusted like it was used to kill someone and not cleaned properly.
number two:

Ravilin looks much older than she did before, hitting the look of at least twenty. Her hair is now snow white with the braids still remaining. They’re tied in bows now. In top of her head are two long fox looking ears that are snow white also. They soft to the touch feeling exactly like fur would instead of hair. Her eyes are now a frightening blood red showing the true nature of what she is rather than what she appears to be as a human. Her uniform has changed into a small white lacy dress that falls to mid-thighs covering her adequately. She has a tail that is pretty long but moves like a normal canine tail would in the normal waving pattern of a dog. At the base of it there’s a bow tied to it. Her canines have grown out to look like fangs, and her finger nails have lengthened to be akin to claws. She runs bare feet when like this not seeing the point in hampering herself from the natural sensation of the world around her. She now stands at 5”8 and seems to have the air of a wild animal to her. When calling out the release phrase a bright light seems to almost smite her down, leaving a curling fog to show the arrancar in her release form.
Spoiler:

Call out phrase | Okami run free!

Resurreccion Ability | Ravilin gains the ability to be able to manipulate the shadows around her. Infusing her reiatsu into the shadows allows her to manipulate them into almost living creatures. This is how she forms various attacks from this power. In general if there is shadows she is able to use them though the weaker the shadow the less the power she'll gain from it.

APPEARANCE //
Further than just the skin //

Height | 5"4
Weight | 110 pounds
Hair color & Style | Pink, long.
Eye color | Blue
Overall Appearance | Ravilin appears to look like a little china doll. She stands at five four, with only 110 pounds on her slender frame. It doesn’t seem like there’s much bulk to her, nor muscle. In fact most people don’t seem to notice she’s around because she’s so small and quiet. Her hair falls to around her bottom in length. It’s always kept groomed in one way or another. The front of her hair is usually down in loose braids with flowers or something else girly keeping the locks tied up from flowing free. The back of her hair is kept down loose to it tends to run with the braids now and then making it look like fair fell out. Her bangs are long themselves usually falling over her eyes making it look like she can’t see you at all through the thick locks. Her hair is a pale pink/white colour that reminds most people of cotton candy when it’s faded and lost its colour. Her eyebrows are the same pale colour of her hair. They arch over a pair of large baby blue eyes that seem to be the same shade as the summer sky. They look fully innocent to the point you’d think they were fake. Her lips are a pale shade of pink just like her hair, her teeth are all straight. Her canines are a bit sharper and dangerous looking almost like fangs, tipping off that she isn’t a normal human or anything of that likes. Her face is shaped like an oval. When it comes to her piece of remaining mask it takes form of a black choker over her throat with a thin z like clip like look on it.
Spoiler:

PERSONALITY //
Understand the invisible //

Habits |

  • Tugging on her hair - Ravilin tends to tug on the long locks of pink hair whenever she feels nervous or unwanted some where. Out of habit she'll grab a handful and tug, sometimes hard enough that you would think that the hair is being ripped out of her skull.
  • Flinching - Ravilin ends up flinching from people if they come to close, and lift up their arms around her.
  • Hiding - It's out of instinct that Ravilin hides from people so that she's not too close to them.

Overall Personality |
The Child
Ravilin never had the chance to properly grow up so she has always been a bit childish in her hopes and dreams. She’ll chase after a butterfly if it meant a chance to explore an aspect she has never sought out before in life. She tries to keep a smile on her face for the most part. Even when being insulted there will be that grin playing across her face. It seems to act as her safe guard from having people figure out what she’s really like. She is very much a child to those around her. Her knowledge in the word is limited. If anything she is the optimistic child who does not know of the harm that is happening the world around her no matter how hard she tries to pretend everything will be alright in the end. Perhaps this acts as a folly for the girl, hindering her ability to be more. She doesn’t know if there is more out there. All she knows is that she wants to go out and have fun without people judging her. If she wants to have a tea party then righty who should stop her? She will generally taking a beating before even thinking about fighting back against someone. This is in her nature since she does not understand the point to fighting.

Innocence

You could very well call her a blushing pride. Ravilin knows nothing but attraction or anything sexual between males and females. In truth it doesn’t seem like she realizes there is a difference between genders. If someone tries to suggest such a thing to her she’ll usually not understand. This is due to how she was raised when she was younger. Or rather how she was kept in the dark. Ravilin refers to almost everyone as older brother and older sister because she is very much left in her own world. She will not try to challenge people because they have a right to do as they please. She sees fighting as pointless because it will gain no one what they want from the world. Despite this notion she will not interfere if two people want to go for one another’s throats. This might seem cruel to some people but to her it is how the world works out and she should not try to test fate. Everything happens for a reason, even being beaten works in the grand design.

Death’s Aspect

Some may wonder how an innocent such as herself ended up in the pits of the desert with the other people such as herself. Ravilin is fixated on fate. Due to this she became an arrancar. She died thinking that fate wanted such a thing to happen. She does not know how to react normally. To her this world is all planned accordingly to what the mistress of fate wants. If someone dies then that is their own problem and no one else’s. She doesn’t know how to react if someone dares suggest that fate is not the reason that people are alive. It’d probably throw her into going almost feral. She does not care for when people scoff to her beliefs. That is the dear things that mean the most to her in the world because without the source of a belief she wouldn’t know what to do. She has been alone for most of her existence with only her belief to be there to support her. If someone suggested such a thing was a sham she wouldn’t know how to react. For her having belief in fate as her mantra it seems to be the only thing keeping her alive from harm.

Love me…Please?

Ravilin is used to being alone for the most part; her world is centered on it. She often tries to find things to push her passion through. She has used dancing as that center of her world along with fate. It keeps her from noticing how lonely she is. Ravilin wants someone to care about her which is why she attempts to make friends everywhere she goes. The thought of being left alone is one that strikes deeply to the arrancar. The race of the person really doesn’t matter to her as long as they want to be her friend. Even if it’s just slightly. Her love is purely innocent towards people near her. She’ll do what she can to be friends with someone else. Though most times when people come near her that she doesn’t know she’ll end up being a klutz somehow and unable to think of anything intelligent to say to them. It’s not uncommon for her to go wide eyed and try to hide behind the first thing that she finds around her. She really is looking for nurturing and someone to help her become more than she currently is.

Loyal to a point

Ravilin will follow through with most orders from her superiors. If an Espada told her to go kill someone she would think it was because fate wanted it to be so and follow through with it. Though if she’s told to do something she’ll stop and think about it. She isn’t totally inhuman to follow through an order without thinking about what implications might form from it. For the most part she doesn’t condone violence, and will prefer a mission if she gets to do something like spying. Hurting other people doesn’t seem to bode well with her. She’d much prefer to let them run away. So if the order is to kill someone then there better be good reasoning to it or she won’t listen to what’s demanded on her. She doesn’t do it to be insolent but more so because she thinks that if fate wanted the person gone that bad then they’d die from a natural cause. Ravilin will turn her head up to some people; if she has an Espada master then she’ll ignore all the other ones. She only pledges her loyalty to one person.

The bitter tears of a human

Ravilin was born during world war two, during this time her name wasn’t Ravilin but Liu. There didn’t seem to be a lot her small town could do against the forces that Germany seemed to be pushing through Europe trying to intimidate all the people that lived there. Her family lived in China at the time, going through the terror that the Japanese continued to throw their way. The family was poor; they lived in a small hut with little provisions to spare. During this time her family tried their best to survive, the Chinese frowned upon having them in their village because her mother was Japanese. Which made them look down on the small girl even more, not only was she a girl but she was a mutt of the people who continued to try and murder their family. Soon enough disaster seemed to be upon them. Japan had left the League of Nations leaving the country sides of China at peril. It would take some time before any of the troops from the emperor managed to come to their aid. At this point Liu was maybe six years at best. Her parents kept her isolated from the villagers for the most part. Though that didn’t stop the cruel children in the village from finding her, and tormenting her. It was often that she wound up coming home with large bruises and cuts all over her. The whole time she would smile and not say who hurt her for the simple fact she didn’t want to be hurt any more than she already was. The logic seemed flawless to her. Being the only girl in her family, her parents often viewed her as useless which left the poor child feeling unloved and alone. It was during these times that she’d walk from the house to the country side sometimes watching soldiers cross by the country side.

During one of these times Liu decided to go to a group of soldiers who were camped out to see what they did every day. The soldiers saw her and swore at the child, telling her she was nothing but Chinese filth that deserved to die. The cruelty of these men was worse than what the children did to her on a normal day. This was much worse than she had expected from them. They beat the child down without a second thought as if she were nothing more than a beast that deserved cruelty from them. The girl was tormented for a few days by the troops before she escaped hearing their plans to wipe out the village she grew up in. Now a question presented its self to her. Did she tell the village people what she found out or let them suffer for what they did to her? Liu was gentle hearted but fair. She ran home to her parents who noticed the marks and took pity on her. When they asked what happened she tried to explain but they merely laughed at her thinking it as a child tale. When the soldiers started invading her parents felt strong regret for the fact they had ignored their child’s story. The spray of gunfire slew most of the men who tried to fight against the armed Japanese soldiers.

While this happened the child fled from the home. Her mother had gone with her, the two daring to brave sneaking from the soldiers who were destroying the village. Once clear into the country side her mother found a farm not far from the town. They ended up telling the farmer about the terror about to sweep the country side. The farmer believed the story since the smoke from the fire in the village was easy enough to spot. The man took in the two, taking his own family of seven people setting out. They had to take the small truck with the tarp over the back heading to shanghai to escape from the dangers of the country side. When they made it to the town all they noticed was wreckage from bombs. It seemed like the peaceful city was no more. Guards pulled the family over to check for papers, when it was found out that Liu’s mother was a Japanese woman and not one of the esteem Chinese the guards pulled her and Liu away. Her mother was screaming, knowing what was going to happen to them, Liu on the other hand went meekly with what was happening. Resisting her fate seemed pointless, casually the child let out a scornful remark that her mother shouldn’t try to oppose the fate set out for them.

Liu’s mother was shocked, wondering where such cruel words had come from. Had she ignored her own child so much that it became filled with hate? The wonder that presented its self was clear and thick. Liu found herself in a jail where they held executions. Girls were useless to begin with beyond bearing children so a mutt of one deserved even less respect. Liu was forced to watch as her mother was shot to death, moving to the still warm corpse she dropped to her knees beside it to recite prayers that would allow her mother’s soul to once more pass on peacefully into the next world. The blood pooled around Liu as she sat on her knees, not a single tear was shed. It didn’t seem like the child held any despair for what just happened before her very eyes. Then men then decided to put her to death right there since she was already on her knees with her head bowed. Slowly Liu lifted her head to throw a look at the man who was about to shoot her and spoke simply. So this is how fate designed my end. The words were enough to frighten the man into shooting her right away. Their bodies were collected to be thrown away. The men who murdered a woman and her child didn’t hold much pride in it but knew it was for the betterment of their country.

Forgotten memories of a beast

Liu woke up from death knowing nothing. She held no information to who she was or where she was. It seemed almost like she was a nameless existence. There was a chain in her chest which the girl fondly thought of now and then wondering why it was constantly devouring itself. There was another spirit near her, one of a woman that looked like herself but much more older. The woman would speak gently to her but Liu, or, the nameless one did not know how to react. Who was this woman? Why was she touching her? What was the point of her existence? All these questions would bun through the petite spirits mind until one day a man in a black robe appeared. Her mother accepted passing on, but the child hide. She didn’t want to leave the world she was just finding stuff out on. It didn’t seem fair to take away a world from her that she might have a chance in. A chance to become something more than she currently was. The shinigami was soon gone and so was her chain. The cries from the girl turned into the snarls of a wild beast as a hollow now stood where Liu once had. It looked like a wolf almost, the eyes a striking purple colour. It seemed to be a frightening size using the shadows to move about here and there without any issues that seemed to be known to her. Soon enough the hollow found its self-craving. It didn’t know what it was craving until it stopped upon a human who was dying. Soon enough the soul was free from the body that once held it. Liu fell upon it in a ravenous hunger consuming it in mere minutes.

After the body was devoured Liu moved on through the country side of China feeding on the death of those who were killed in the battles of the world war. It was during this time she met another creature such like herself. While around this other hollow, Liu explained her thinking of life. Her thinking that fate was there to deem who was worthy of glory and who was worthy of punishment and that each life was karma for the past one. These words didn’t seem to make much sense to the other hollow but Liu didn’t mind in the least. When the hollow asked for her name, Liu sadly could not give one. The simple reason behind that was the fact she didn’t know her name or who she was. The other hollow figured there had to be something that he could call the female hollow and decided on Ravi. There was no real reason to the name beyond the fact it sounded appealing to him. So Liu now became Ravi. During her travels with her companion, Ravi found interest in what humans did. Their conditions of how they treated one another astounded her more and more with each passing month that she found herself wandering the human realm. She never really drew attention to herself from the shinigami which allowed her to exist as long as she did in a peaceful state of devouring souls while learning to control herself a bit better around her companion.

During this time they decided to go into Hueco Mundo, the large white deserts that seemed to have no end to them. It wasn’t really that great of a place. There were no humans to feed on, only hollows like her companion. Soon enough she learned that to survive she needed to hunt and consume her own kind in a cannibal like state. With each consumption of another hollow soul Ravilin found out that voices seemed to be echoing in her head. Each victim was another voice to add inside of her along with their essence that made her stronger than she was. It was a pain to constantly have these voices vying for attention and wanting control of the body. Over time it seemed to slowly warp what reality she held. Everything seemed different than it truly was and she didn’t know how to make it once more return to the peaceful state it had been. It seemed like someone enjoyed messing up her life, fate was a cruel mistress to punish her where it could. Ravi went through the motions of being a hollow, hunting and killing without ever wondering if there was something else. At one point she turned into a Gillian along with her other friend. The pair of them were giants roaming the desert. The voices seemed to boom even more, souls clamouring for control of the body they lost. Ravi would constantly push them back though at times it seemed harder than she enjoyed. It seemed like she wasn’t able to always control them since they would vie for control even while she slept.

Soon enough the phase of being a Gillian ended and she found herself at the state of being an adudjachs with her friend at her side. They never did get separated often. It was during this time that he found out that the dominant soul was no longer Ravi but one of the twisted monsters she had consumed over the passing years. Though this came a little too late to the point he realized when she was killing him. It was a fast death for the adujachas since she seemed more focused on power than feeding. The beast wanted more power which lead to it wondering what would happen if it ripped the mask from the face beneath. So she tested the theory, ripping at the bone like material, clawing at it from her face her screams filling the void like night of the desert. Her body dropped in exhaustion it looked like what was left was nothing more than a bleeding corpse that mangled its self to seek power.

Onii-san, will you play?

The beast awoke to something else. A child like mentality where it knew nothing of the world around it. In fact, an arrancar had been born naturally from its own method of torture for power. Years passed and Ravi, changed her name to Ravilin, slowly attempting to learn more of the world around her though it seemed to be a constant struggle. With her small stature she was constantly picked on by the other arrancar who liked to remind her of her place no matter what she was doing. After all she was nothing more than a dog.
