Re: TryOut: Kasumi Suzume; Ravilin [APPROVED]
Pale white hands flitted across the table before plucking up a smooth tan cup. In the warm cup sat tea that smelled of pine and mint. The steam curled through the air lazily as if it were alive. Slowly the shallow tea cup was drawn to the mouth of the raven haired woman. The cooled tea held just enough heat that it wouldn't burn her mouth. Sometimes the simple pleasures of life were some of the best. It wasn't often that the taicho got the chance to slip away from her work. The crimson eyes sparkled across her visage as if someone blew light into her very soul. Placing the delicate glass down on the smooth black surface of the table, Kasumi looked outside. The sliding door to her office had been left ajar to let in the slightest cooling whisper of the wind. Picking up a small stick shaped biscuit Kasumi bit into it thoughtfully, the chocolate coating leaving an interesting taste in her mouth along side the after taste of the tea. A booming laugh bit at her mind making the petite captain shift uncomfortably. "Kirin-sama, how may I help you? Or are you just trying to disrupt my moment of calm for fun?" The reply was laced with annoyance, echoed by a sigh.
The image of the spirit pranced through the shinigami's mind while the laughter grew louder. Why would I do such a thing to you? We both know how much I adore you. The raspy growl of arrogance whispered through her mind. The whisper certainly did not fit the loud laughter. Kasumi held the suspicion to think that the spirit just wanted to give her a heart attack... Could spirits even have heart attacks? Biting down on the rest of the biscuit that dangled from her mouth the petite woman picked up the tea once more. This is boring! Why aren't you out about doing something more... useful? The spirit rumbled, Kasumi finished her tea in a greedy gulp since she doubted the spirit would give her some free time to escape it's judgement. It seemed that he wouldn't let up. Dammit. How she had been enjoying the tea during a peaceful afternoon. Sometimes Kasumi wished that there was more to Kirin's persona than a demanding jerk. He never spoke to her about something that interested her because as he so eloquently put it before, 'you don't have the refined tastes of a king.' Kirin knew the thoughts flashing through her mind, remaining silent as she silently vented to herself about the king of beasts.
Obviously sitting in her office wasn't going to work out. It was tempting to do so just to anger the spirit more. A low hiss echoed through her mind in warning. Well fine. He could throw attitude then. Puling herself up in a delicate manner the doll like woman cleaned up her tea, putting it on the heater so it'd keep warm. Once finished up her task, Kasumi left through the sliding doors, making sure to nudge them closed behind her. As she took in the day around her faint shouts seemed to resound throughout the side wall where the barracks where. Making sure that her own weapon was about her waist Kasumi set off with a shunpo. The closer she got the more sure she was that it was a brawl between two shinigami. Good heavens, so much for enjoying the day. The one day she didn't have work it seemed to find her.

Re: TryOut: Kasumi Suzume; Ravilin [APPROVED]
Rock had been minding his own business, enjoying the clear sky and cool breeze, when some jerk-off Shinigami from the 7th Division had made his presence be known. God how he hated the 7th. Those schmucks were so arrogant and ignorant, bunch of baboons if he ever saw them.
Rocky was sitting on a bamboo bench, just outside of the 2nd Division Barracks, his back against the tall, granite white wall. His arms were raised, shoulder height and were wrapped around two gorgeous female 2nd Divisioners. His hand's dangled just above each one's breast. One of the girls was of fair skin and light complexion, her cheeks blush red. Her hair was long and blonde, braided over her right shoulder. It reached all the way down to the dirt ground, just inches from contact. The other was a bit darker, almost with an orange hue. Very tan indeed. She bore short, neck long black hair. It gave her a Gothic persona.
But well, his fun filled-day had spiraled down into the pits of Hell. He lay his head back on the white concrete, his arms still around the two beauties. His eyes were rolled to the right and his expression was sour. This fucking idiot, the Shinigami from 7th, just stood there, in front of Rock, babbling on about how the 2nd Division were just a bunch of fucking lazy, no-good dogs. Rock honestly didn't give two shits about this guy, but then, the unspeakable came forth from the baboons gape, "And your stupid, weak-willed Captain."
Rock's expression shifts to display his complete dread. Was this man...truly an idiot? Did he not know who he spoke of? His heart races, almost as if it wanted to jump out through his chest in order to shield his eyes from the tragedies to come. His hands clench, accidentally squeezing one of the female's breasts. He turns towards the victim and laughs sheepishly, but only for a brief moment. Not caring for what the poor girl had to say, Rock turns back to face the soon to be dead man. Well, at least she wasn't around...
And then, Rock ate his words. He could now feel his Captain...had she heard what this ignorant monkey had said?

"And your stupid, weak-willed Captain."
Now how was she supposed to react to that? He wasn't even a part of her squad. Kasumi knew all too well how the other squads berated her members claiming they did nothing. They needed a swift kick in the ass. This just seemed to be another common case of bullying. Kasumi continued walking to where Rocky sat with the two females throwing a look to him. Anger burned through the gaze, though most of it was directed to the moron who seemed to be dribbling none sense about someone he didn't even know. The wonders of ignorance never ceased to amaze the captain. Her haori fluttered as she approached the shinigami before her. "Perhaps you want to repeat those words to my stupid, weak willed face, huh?" Her voice came out in a growl the challenge echoing in it. She knew that Rocky sat behind her with the two women. If a fight broke out it wouldn't be right here. A sow cold smirk tugged at her face as her hand snaked into the pocket of the haori. Her eyes took in every single movement of the large barbarian before her. Did there really have to be a meeting about how to keep squad members on a leash? She felt the tension echoing through her body, Kirin was thankfully silent. That was probably for the fact he feed off emotion. So raw emotion like this was not far from a banquet.
Removing her hand from the confines of the haori pocket a tanto came with it. The blade of the weapon glimmered softly while Kasumi watched the bulk of a man before her. "Perhaps, you should not insult those you don't know. I could easily teach you a lesson, whelp." The words were cold as her spiritual pressure seemed to dance around them. The grin remained etched on her face as she moved even closer to the shinigami her feet making not a sound while she moved. Maybe respect would be beaten in to him. To be perfectly fair she didn't want to hamper him more than she had to, plus the fourth squad would need to deal with the wounds after she was finished with him. What a stupid man. What he did was the same as tossing a bone to a starving dog. Kasumi wouldn't let this go until he learned how to properly respect the people around him. She had stopped right to his side her blade caressing against the uniform at the torso. The crimson eyes were dancing, waiting for the moronic shinigami before her to react.
"If you apologize I'll keep the damage you gain from this to the minimum." Her voice sounded like the purr of a fat cat.
