Re: Try-Out: Sora Hayashi; Sora Hayashi [APPROVED]
The low hum of music purred in his ears, a steady thrum that seemed to be pulsing, pushing outward as if wanting to capture his very essence. Around him was the white panel walls of his office. They were stark against the red cherry hardwood. The office was bare for the most part with the exception of the large desk that dominated one side of the room. The desk was made of a heavy old oak, the grooves showed clearly in it from knots in the wood. It was a beautiful piece of carpentry. Sora's vivid crimson pools were closed halfway, a sigh escaping his mouth. The company wanted him to take care of a child. The thought made the cynical sadist of a man glimmer with anger. They had no idea what they were doing by sending him to baby sit a child. Focusing on the voice in the mix he could pick some simple things up from the vocals. She was young, couldn't be over seventeen. Jesus, why were they making him keep track of their precious idol? They should've known better than to do such a thing. Yet they were still sending her. Staring at the desk, Sora huffed to himself. Pushing away from the large leather office chair which he had sat in the young man walked towards the window. People knew of him as Doctor Hayashi mostly because of the fact their cover was a medical company. Pulling a smoke from in his pocket the young man fished one out feeling a bit frustrated. Smoking was the one way he kept himself calm when he was certain that he'd snap at any moment and have innocent blood on his hands. While he pulled out a smoke his other hand pushed against the reflective surface of the glass, sliding the panel so it let in the sweet scent of fresh air. Couldn't let the idol sit in a office that reeked of smoke. Though it was tempting. The crimson eyes flashed as he pulled out the smoke from case, and tossed it back onto the desk without looking. His gaze was focused on the lower levels of the ground where people were talking, chattering between one another with an innocence that the fullbringer envied.
His other hand fished into the right pocket of the black suit jacket he wore, pulling out the engraved zippo liter. Flicking the lid back with an audible click Sora paused. Glancing to the golden flames a cool look played across his face before he lit the cig. Slipping it between his fingers Sora took a long drag. The taste wasn't that great, it just calmed him enough to allow him to think properly. The company wanted to take a stand against the shinigami. The thought made sorrow shine for a moment. Shinigami weren't enemies so much, just... They were in the way. Puffing out the smoke from his mouth the open window captured it happily. The gray cloud danced in the sunlight before breaking apart, vanishing from the human eye. A memory was echoing in his head from the music. The night he lost the one person who he had loved more than anything. The thought made his fist clench almost as if the muscle was spasming on its own. His heat was thumping heavily against his chest in reminder that he was alive and needed to let ghosts go. Tightly he closed his eyes, the feeling of sorrow continued to push on him before he grunted. Fuck this wasn't worth it. Checking the silver watch on his wrist, Sora noted that it was taking awhile for the meeting time to roll around. Even time wanted to spite him today. "This is fucking bullshit. Why isn't she here yet. They promised me one pink haired idol for two o'clock. I'm being fucking patient." The voice came out in a low growl. Sora wasn't the best with waiting for another person. In fact it was a bit hard for him. He used his spiritual pressure to span out, the power searching like hands gliding along the halls. The feeling of power was enough to make people shudder and feel warmth spread through them. Finally he felt the tug of the girl's own power. Opening his eyes widely Sora remained by the window finishing his smoke.
Before the girl had time to knock, Sora spoke. "You may enter. Please take a seat in the chair in front of the desk." Sora was all business.

Re: Try-Out: Sora Hayashi; Sora Hayashi [APPROVED]
Overa wasn't entirely sure if she had the right office and.. well she was just tense. Just being in this place made her uncomfortable, she wasn't here by choice. She wasn't here on the most welcome of terms, and she wasn't feeling the least bit at ease in this place either. This place was full of lies and deceptions, using her image to uphold the company's image as an honest and well intending medical company. Acting like her sponsors when she felt more like a prisoner here. She wasn't allowed on most floors, and she wasn't allowed to leave on her own will. In all honesty it wasn't unlike prison, she could only do what they allowed her to do and not much more.
She stood at the doorway, her lips in a frown and her eyes half shut and showing a hint of emptiness. She was to meet the man that was supposed to "watch over her" but what did that even mean? Was this just going to be someone who constantly watched over her or something? Or was it just going to be her prison guard? Either way she didn't expect anything, this place had too much variety to know what kind of person was behind every door. But she could tell the person she was to meet was a fullbringer when he made himself known. His voice came out of the room, a bit muffled by the door but still she could tell what he said. She opened the door slowly and stared at the man's back.
she stood there silently for a second before giving a slight bow, a habit of hers that she wouldn't be breaking any time soon. Even if he didn't see it she still felt the need to be respectful. "Uh... um. hello, I am Overa Umitate." She stood straight again and walked in, taking a seat as he had offered and just waiting to see what would happen.

Re: Try-Out: Sora Hayashi; Sora Hayashi [APPROVED]
The door creaked open, Sora turned on his heels the thick black hair swaying slightly. The crimson orbs fastened on the petite doll like girl as he stared her down. Sora knew full well how frightening he was to other people. The look in his eyes was one that people found on older men, not someone in their prime. The eyes showed nothing to them beyond a curious look. Sora was good at keeping to himself. Finally he finished his smoke, taking a long stride of a step towards his desk. Pausing for a moment at her greeting Sora tipped his head. "Sora Hayashi." He offered his name in exchange for hers. It was the decent thing to do. Finally he was once more behind his desk not knowing how he felt. Overa looked certainly too young to be used to the advantage of twisted people. Slowly he cleared his throat, sinking into his seat. The young woman's pressure of spiritual energy was like a gentle pulse against his own, the two mingled for a moment as he let his power out slightly. Sora did this so that Overa knew the feeling of his energy in case she ever needed to find him without needing to call out to him. It was a neat trick to be honest. Slowly he blinked before scowling clearly at the doll of a girl before him, "They didn't tell me you were so young. Now I feel like were ruining you're chance at a normal life." He grumbled looking rather pissed off. The boss was going to get an ear full for this. No child deserved to be dragged into a war. That was the reason they slated him to play body guard because he felt as if there was nothing worth living for and followed through all his jobs easily.
"I'm certain you know why the fucking pricks sent you to me." Sora spoke softly, a growl echoing in his voice as he did so. It was obvious that he was not pleased. It wasn't the idols fault she was stuck coming to this place to see a man who was swearing like a sailor. Sora was rather handsome, if he ever smiled that would show but it seemed there was a scowl that didn't want move from his face. "Where ever you go I go. I'm your body guard that means I protect you from whatever the hell is sent your way. I expect you not to bitch about it. I don't like this anymore than you do." He spoke in a growl leaning in the chair, on the desk there was a small container of sweets. Pushing it forward to Overa her offered her one before closing his eyes to let out a sigh. There was no way that he would allow anyone to harm her. Sora was hoping the next to bare office wouldn't deter her from being near him. Sora had the personality type that took time to get used to. It came with the grounds of coping with the past and the future seeming to collide in one mess. To be honest Sora acted like a huge prick to try and mend his heart. The less he felt the better he felt. No one needed him to feel emotions for his job to be done. Slowly he once more opened his crimson eyes to peer at her with a cool detached look wondering how she would reply to him.
"Any questions?"
